Service Description

The Sunken Cargo Ship As the boat glides over the site, the massive 130-foot silhouette of the Veronica L appears suddenly against the white sandy bottom. Since the wreck is only about 25 to 30 feet below the surface at its highest points, the sunlight illuminates every detail of the ship’s structure. You’ll get a clear view of the entire deck, the open cargo holds, and the intricate coral growth that has claimed the vessel over the last 30 years. It’s a serene, cinematic experience that feels like looking into a giant, living aquarium. Top View Highlights The Towering Crane: You can clearly see the ship’s original loading crane stretching upward. From the boat, it looks like a giant, coral-encrusted arm reaching toward the surface. The "Blue Hole" Effect: Looking directly down into the empty cargo holds creates a beautiful deep-blue contrast against the rusted metal and colorful sponges of the deck. The Tropical "Fish Clouds": The wreck acts as a massive magnet for marine life. You’ll see shimmering schools of Blue Chromis and Yellowtail Snappers swirling around the railings just a few feet below the glass. Vibrant Coral Gardens: The ship isn't just metal; it’s a vertical garden. From above, you can spot the bright orange and yellow sponges and large sea fans that have grown along the hull. Occasional "Fly-bys": Because the wreck is located near a reef system, it’s common to see Hawksbill Turtles or Spotted Eagle Rays cruising past the ship while you watch from above. What to expect: 1. Arrival & Check-In Please arrive at the Grand Anse Beach Jetty meeting point 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. This gives us enough time to get everyone checked in and briefed on safety before we head out. https://maps.app.goo.gl/jrBpAs1uSUo9jaqv7?g_st=iw 2. Getting On Board Once at the jetty, you will step onto the boat. Don’t worry, our professional crew will be right there to assist you. 3. Safety & Comfort on the Glass Because our boats are specially designed with transparent hulls, the interior surface can become a bit slippery when wet. We ask all guests to move carefully while on board. Welcome aboard!
